The event is a brief introduction to IIT Indore’s Academic Programs, Research Programs, Global Partnerships, International Mobility/Exchange Programs, Bilateral Grants, Admissions and Achievements of IIT Indore. The presenters will also describe the vision, available facilities, MoUs across the globe, projects, entrepreneurship, and industry relations of IIT Indore.
Indian Institute of Technology Indore

The Indian Institute of Technology Indore, located near Indore city in the heartland of India, is an institute of national importance in the field of Science and Technology. The institute is spread over a 500-acre green campus and houses 11 departments and 10 Centers. The institute has more than 175 faculty members offering 42 major academic programs to over 2500 students.  

In addition to its academic programs, the institute also manages research and development to nurture higher learning, professional ethics, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It carries forward the culture of excellence and hard work embedded in its social environment.  

IIT Indore aims to facilitate learning, personal growth, and cultural understanding through active participation by reaching eminent institutions/organizations across the globe. IIT Indore has expanded its efforts for faculty members and students to explore the internationalization of higher education in all the world's geographical regions.  

IIT Indore has been collaborating with the various renowned universities of USA, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Canada and many more countries. The university is establishing linkage with various Universities / Institutions across the globe to promote bilateral grants, mobility programs, international fellowships, and other MHRD initiatives like SPARC, VAJRA, and GIAN for students and faculties over the last decade. This event can open a dialogue for efficient collaboration and strong connections with FICORE members.

FICORE (Finnish Indian Consortia for Research and Education) is a network of higher education institutions from Finland and India collaborating in diverse fields of science and technology. The main aim of FICORE is to provide a foundation for stakeholders in higher education, industries, policy, and research from Finland and India to engage in meaningful and impactful joint initiatives that benefit the society at large. FICORE is one of the eight ‘Global Networks’ initiated and supported by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. The Global Networks support the Finnish higher education institutions to enhance the global dimension in their strategies and promote excellence in key research areas together with international partners.
