Collaborative Robots
The event showcases Indo-Finnish bilateral expertise in the field of Robotics to a broader audience including academia and industries alike. Hosted by Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) and Tampere University (TAU), the webinar series aims to bring together higher education institutions and industries in both countries to facilitate future collaboration and partnerships in the field of robotics.
According to Francois Christophe, senior researcher at HAMK, “Robotics is widely and rapidly growing especially since robots were “freed from their cages” thanks to the development of sensors. This allows closer human-robot interactions and allows us to apply robots in much wider scope than the manufacturing industry. I am excited about the seeds that will start growing from our FICORE webinar series. Exchanging together on our education and research activities will most certainly create a start for common topics and hopefully common research projects. Let us extend the frontiers of robotics applications together!”
