The webinar is beneficial for academics and researchers at large from India and Finland to understand the common practices and important agreements involved in developing dual degrees in doctoral education. It also helps to recognize possible challenges and best practices in developing joint programmes, especially in the doctoral education.
The intended outcomes of this webinar are,
- Developing a deeper understanding of models, possibilities, and challenges to develop joint doctoral education and
- Creating close connections among service/academic peers interested in developing joint doctoral education

FICORE (Finnish Indian Consortia for Research and Education) is a network of higher education institutions from Finland and India collaborating in diverse fields of science and technology. The main aim of FICORE is to provide a foundation for stakeholders in higher education, industries, policy, and research from Finland and India to engage in meaningful and impactful joint initiatives that benefit the society at large.
